Over the past centuries, artists had amazed the world by their beautiful masterpieces. Oil paintings and drawings so priced, that many people collected and sold them for much bigger prices. Talking about visual art, there's also a kind of method artists employ today to make their drawings more alive and realistic. It’s called three-dimensional drawing or 3D, if I’m not mistaken.
Watching this video will give you a simple overview of this artistic drawing style. It looks simple and yet a little challenging on the part of those not inclined to drawing. See how a simple drawing technique can make any drawn figures simulate the real ones. This kind of method really gives life to any drawn object not because of how it is colored, but how it is done. It gives us an angular view of a certain drawing, exposing its other facets aside from just the front. A hand is not a hand outline anymore, but this time, with the addition of its natural contour and bulk, making it look like a real hand in shape and mass.
Let’s see how the artist draws the outline of her hand on a piece of paper. She then draws some lines across it but breaks and bends them at significant points to get the real visual structure of a hand. It becomes even more animate as she puts some colors on it. It’s some kind of an optical illusion, tricking our eyes into perceiving that it’s really raised, but in reality, it’s just an ordinary drawing done on a flat sheet of paper. It’s pretty deceiving.
Most artists now begin to adopt the 3D technique that’s why some of them transitioned from doing the conventional style to working out on a more interesting one.
