My good Lord! Andrew’s performance totally blew me away when he sang in America’s Got Talent. It’s so awesome. I can’t believe he could sing soprano. It’s actually a trained operatic soprano quality, so that makes him a male soprano.

In classical singing, there are four basic voice ranges or voice parts, namely: bass, tenor, alto and soprano. Bass and tenor are adult male singing voices, bass being the lowest male singing voice and tenor, the highest. The same thing goes with the adult female singing voices, alto is the lowest and soprano is the highest. In addition to the basic four voice ranges, there are also some voice parts in between them that complement each other which give a colorful symphony of voices.

Andrew de Leon, his full name, sings like a professional opera singer. Unbelievable as it is, he never sang in front of anybody or anywhere except in his room where he use to practice. He never also had any voice training at all. He just harnessed his God-given gift all by himself and that, without any shadow of doubt, is pure unmistaken talent.

He’s gone a long way for this break. He use to be an outcast in the society as he said, perhaps because of his different outlook in life and self expression that are seemingly contrary to the norm. He is somewhat despised by others and that’s when his low self-esteemed developed, in a sense, but not anymore. What used to be a nobody now became a somebody.

Truly, you can’t judge a book by its cover because you’ll never know that as unpleasant its outside appearance may be, the beautiful and awe-inspiring is its content. There is always something good in you to offer and contribute no matter how despicable the world might think of you.
