Hey guys, look what we’ve got here, a mad little girl. It’s quite funny to see young kids express their feelings. But I hope this is not a nagger-in-the-making kind of a thing, ha ha! I wonder what caused little Saige to be upset like that, that she even wanted to move out of their house to live in a friend’s house. Well, watching her, we can see her indignation in coming up with a strong decision of moving out. No matter how her mom reassured her that she loved her and that she would miss her if she’s gone, little Saige would still stand to her pronouncement as if no one in this world could deter her nor stand in her way in doing what she wanted to do.
Five-year-old Saige’s reason for her outburst of emotion was her brother. She has gone mad because her brother would always get mean to her, so she wanted to get rid of him. Her family laughed whenever she said words about leaving their house for good. For a young mind, Saige thought that the solution for her dilema was readily available, and that it should be taken care of right away without wasting any time. But you know what? In reality, we, grown-ups, sometimes act the same. Oh, I bet some of us will agree to that.
Majority of us have the same opinion that children should be given the right to many things that has something to do with the healthy development of their well-being. But I believe that in everything, there should always be boundaries, or should I say, ethical norms for this matter, of how a person should behave, especially if he or she is talking to someone older than him or her. And in this case, it’s Saige mother. But then, of course, at the end of the day, let’s try to hear the children’s heart and correct them, and love them the way they are.
