Yes guys, the Man of Steel is back, and he has not come with the rest of the super heroes. He has come for one purpose alone, to help people through taking a particular challenge. This time he’s not using his super strength to beat some nasty villains nor his nemesis, but the cold. Let’s watch how he withstands the chilling gush of iced water for the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The challenge was conceptualized and organized to gather funds for the treatment of American patients who suffer from a rare type of disease called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). More and more prominent people in different countries are taking the challenge for a donation of a hundred dollars each.
Hollywood actor Henry Cavill, most commonly known as The Man of Steel a.k.a. Superman with Amy Adams sitting beside him, are now on the hot seat, or should I say cold seat. They also take part to spread the advocacy for a charitable cause.
Amy Adams stays at the first round, but soon after that, she leaves Henry Cavill alone to receive a multiple pouring of buckets full of freezing cold water. The Man of Steel seems helpless this time as if he’s being dipped into a Kryptonite bath. What an exhilarating scene to watch.
Don’t be shocked if, one day, the other members of the Super Friends show up to beat the bitter cold challenge. Who knows?
