TV5 news anchor Paolo Bediones faces a very controversial issue of having sex scandal videos that are now quickly spreading on the internet. Bediones seeks the intervention and help of the PNP Anti Cybercrime Division regarding this matter.
Yesterday, the 31st day of July, Bediones posted on his Instagram account his need of help saying, “Please help me put a stop to this. Thank you.” He also posted the alleged letter of the blackmailers. The PNP Cybercrime Division has started mobilizing its team to investigate on this matter.
The letter seems to extort Bediones, obviously a certain amount of money in exchange of the sex videos. The letter goes like this, “Hawak ko ngayon ang mga sex videos mo. Madali naman akong kausap! Kung ayaw mong lumabas ito sa publiko, tawagan mo ako. Antayin ko ang tawag mo? Wag mo patagalin mainipin ako.”
Previously, there was the same kind of sex scandal video of some sort and even screenshots circulating on the internet of a couple doing an erotic act of which some say that the man looks like Paolo Bediones. But despite all that, he continues to work as usual.
Bediones is very thankful for the support of his family and friends, and of course, his TV network TV5 which still believes in him and does not let go of him in spite of everything saying, “We firmly express our support for our anchor Paolo Bediones in the face of a controversy that represents nothing more than an attempt to smear his reputation. We accord our employees and talents all respect that are due them for their privacy and personal action or decision. We disapprove strongly the malicious and wanton publication of the video, an act that clearly violates pertinent cybercrime laws,”
