A one-of-a-kind artist, Trina Merry, does her craft that’s not common to every painter. She uses the human body as a living canvass. To blend in with the distinguished landmarks of New York City, she had her models’ bodies painted to look like they’re part of the panorama.
Merry said it’s not easy to accomplish this kind of project when it comes to the actual outdoor photography. She’s very careful and strategic in executing her moves so as not to get into trouble with cops or with the city ordinances, not to mention some other factors like the changing weather conditions and gaping passers-by.
She did her amazing combination of painting and photography at some of New York City’s famous sites like the Guggenheim Museum, in the lower Manhattan area, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and the Manhattan Bridge.
