Are you acrophobic? I bet you’re gonna feel a little discomfort watching this video. Two guys attempts to reach the top of Shanghai Tower standing 650 meters high, a skyscraper that dwarfs all the other skyscrapers around it. It’s quite breathtaking just watching them slowly climb up the tower.

After some time, the two friends were able to reach the top of the tower as one of them did the video recording of all their efforts along the way. I couldn’t imagine how they were able to do that, or I should be asking why they did that. There’s no doubt that these guys are doing this thing purely for adventure, conquering the heights of the tallest buildings they can climb. If there are those who do it in mountains, these guys are for buildings. For you guys out there, don’t be so hasty or too adventurous to immediately try this dangerous feat because this can also put your life in peril. It’s not an ordinary hobby if you call it a hobby.

During the course of time, I have heard in the news quite often that several people who do mountain climbing lost their lives in trying to conquer even the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest in the Himalayas, but not with skyscraper climbing. Well, maybe because it’s a newer ekspresi dominan than mountain climbing. But we might want to consider the obvious differences the two have. Mountain climbing is, I think, much more dangerous than the other because it employs the climbers’ stamina and strength, not to mention their serious need of careful judgment of where to hold on to and how to rid themselves of the thick snow and ice going up. Unlike in building climbing, you can hold on to sturdy things like metals or concrete knowing that they can definitely support your weight. So guys, you just enjoy watching and be sure to think twice before you try this stuff.
