Do you have an idea of what these guys are doing? This is called robotic dancing. Dancers simulate the slow and sharp movements of a robot.
This reminds me of the Break Dance mania in the mid 80’s. It’s somewhat similar, but these robotic dance movements are a bit slower and not as agile as in break dancing.
Robotic style of dancing became famous among the youth. It is sometimes incorporated to modern dance steps. You can see it on MTVs, in movies and in the street where rival groups do a one-on-one or group dance wars.
Let’s look at these two guys doing their stuff in a parking lot. Onlookers who have no idea of what they’re doing might think they are crazy but they’re not. They’re just having fun and get to attract not only the passers-by but also the online viewers.
As you can see, they obviously have different routines or steps if you will, but I think it would be more remarkable if they do it synchronized. That would be more fun and pretty awesome. But all in all, it was good and surely entertained those who watched it.
