Guess what. There’s a new member in the KLM’s Lost and Found Team. He’s actually the best compared to his colleagues, and is definitely the cutest of them all.
Most of the time, airline passengers accidentally leave behind personal items in the plane as they disembark like cellphones, headsets, kiddy toys and some other stuff.
So, may I introduce to you the ever reliable sniffing dog of KLM named Sherlock which was trained by Dirk Van Driel for the Royal Dutch Airlines’ Lost and Found Team. He can do a particular job no one else can.
Sherlock, the indispensable member of the team, is always there to run as fast as he can to deliver the lost items to the owners wherever they are in the airport. What he does is he gives a little sniff on the items then tracks the scent of the owners through the lost items. He perfectly knows where to find them. It definitely saves time and effort for the airport employees and gives relief to worried passengers.
This wonderful dog has become the airport’s apple of the eye. He would always receive hugs and strokes from thankful passengers. With Sherlock around, you might think of losing an item on purpose just to meet this adorable dog.
