What in the world…I thought the kids were just having a photo-taking. I was waiting for the phrase “Say cheese,” but instead, it should have been “Lights, camera, action.” What they did was totally unexpected. Although there were no words spoken, they absolutely got us there.
The video is actually a commercial of a famous brand of chocolate bar, Cadbury. The whole thing starts with the two kids that are about to have a photo-taking in a photography studio. Everything seems to be normal and ordinary, but something unusual breaks out as the photographer leaves the studio to answer a phone call.
At that particular moment when the two siblings wait for the photographer to get back to them, our normal assumption would be that they would just do nothing, chat for a while until the photographer gets back, but that’s not the case. With the use of a digital music from the boy’s watch, the two kids totally go crazy, playing with their eyebrows as they dance to the rhythm of the music. How awesome.
In that commercial where the kids show off their talent, we could see the relevance of it all to the product they are promoting. They have the slogan “A glass and a half full of joy.” As in our observation, the kids quite represent the one and a half glasses of milk. And with their eyebrow playing, they give joy to those who are watching, thereby personifying the excellence of the product. I think it’s a better way of promoting a product. They not only get to promote the name of the product, but also its good quality.
