Well, what do you know? I didn’t imagine that coke could clean up metals and dissolve rust. This is something new to me and to you too, I suppose.
When I was still schooling, we used to try sorts of things in our Science class like making use of substances commonly found in the kitchen. To give you one example, vinegar can clean up your faucets. It dissolves hard water and stains that have stuck on them for years.
It’s a fact that Coca Cola is the most widely consumed beverage all over the world. And if I’m not mistaken, it has gone ahead over other popular colas out there in the market today. Most of us didn’t know that it could also be used as a cleaning agent.
Look how it cleans the rusty car bumper. We could see the proof right before our very eyes. Coke is poured on the bumper to sit for a while then it’s wiped clean. The rust has eaten up some small spots on the bumper’s surface but it’s not that noticeable after cleaning it with coke. We could see how it shines as if it’s brand new.
I’m not particularly good at Chemistry, but I got to try this coke thing. Amazing discovery.
